Yeah right, beef has benefited from a lot of welfare, maybe indirectly, but a huge subsidized corn industry has been fattening cattle for a long time, lots and lots of money from NRCS and EQIP has funded infrastructure, and there seems to be a lot more hardship funds available for rough winters and droughty summers. |
