once a year, isn't gone all the time. i used to be that way, my wife was brought up alittle differently also. we have through the years reached a happy medium, try to plan a couple business vacations-one or two day deals, then one "main" vacation, 5-7 days. got good help to take care of things, also a little feather in their hat because you trust them enough, to take off and not have to worry about things.
