Monroe Oregon | In stead of using the areial imagery I'm using a Greenseeker mounted on my sprayer boom. It was late in the season before I was able to get it working, so all I used for was gathering data to compare it to our yeild data. During our grasseed rust spraying is when I started to collect data and our fieldman that handles all of our precision ag was very impressed with data. He overlayed a field that was done by JD and the Greenseeker was much better data. The cost is what sold me. We get charged $3/ac for JD and I bought the Greenseeker for $3000. We farm 5000 acres plus do custom application. Also the Greenseeler will work in real time and can do variable rate on the go. Just google greenseeker and look for yourself. | |
