Subject: Ontario planting problems

Perth county, Ontario
Having trouble with our 750 Deere no till drill, being able to get the seed in the ground to an acceptable depth. Have tried setting it deeper and seem to be having trouble getting it to penetrate the ground, usually run the pressure on the red/ yellow line and have taken it up to 1500 psi which has lifted the carrying wheels off the ground, talked to the dealership and they say the ground is hard and everyone is complaining about it this year. Talked to a friend of Dads that also has the same drill and he said their drill has weight brackets not sure if ours does or not. We are going to try the planter tomorrow to see if we can do a better job in the true notill. Even having enough trouble in lightly tilled soil seem there are enough shallow beans out of the moisture. A nice half inch shortly might help some of these problem spots to get them going. Has anybody else been noticing this or having trouble or has suggestions TIA Nerves are starting to get short so looking for Ideas since the dealer doesn't seem to be to have many suggestions and before somebody asks this machine had all new disc blades last fall and did about 400 acres of whwat so we are at a lost as to what to try thanks
