| We might see such trucks, but they will only be allowed to run 100 feet a week to keep the fuel consumption down to a gallon and then will only be allowed to carry 6 first class mail envelopes with a driver not weighing over 98 pounds (wet or dry), not 3 tons of seed, feed, or fertilizer.
The White House would like to demand super high truck mileage to the point that trucks may be legislated out of existence because the regulations would demand 195% fuel efficiency which is not practical to achieve when the best internal combustion engines might do 40% fuel efficiency and most do less.
