southern MN | I just got a 2 terabyte Western Digital MyCloud hard drive.
It plugs directly into my router, and I can back up several computers or devices onto it. It is fairly quick as long as I'm within my own router network, it doesn't use the Internet for that.
I can also set up file sharing, and access my photos, or documents, or whatever, from any of my computers or tablets anywhere through the Internet.
Seems very versatile and the $150 cost wasn't bad at all.
One negative is that it is sitting in the house with the main computer, so its not a redundant backup if the house burns or such.
