Centre county Pennsylvania, USA
Omar, good point about outfits like Dropbox,ICloud,Onedrive, etc not encrypting files at the local level. We've recently seen that government can require private companies to "turn over all internet files to US government". In essence, that means that any of your internet information is, or will be, compromised. Even if the dropbox type internet services encrypted your files, US gov can probably break that encryption.

I never trust advice from any "well known security expert". History of internet hacks is ample evidence of how wrong those experts have been. Their advice failure rate appears to be nearly 100%, so far.
