tj_farmer - 1/6/2014 18:55...now that weed program in that field, different subject. LOL, That's the problem I have posting pictures of my Stock Talk corn raised for grazing to you Crop Talk guys! I hit my corn with one pass of RU soon after emergence. This corn will canopy and keep the weeds down enough for me and my calves! Having cattle, my definition of a weed has morphed down to "the only thing that is a weed is something a cow will not eat" Here are some pics of this years grazing corn again with just one pass RU. I don't worry about a few weeds nor volunteer corn. But usually turns out pretty well: (this has been continuous spring Pluribus strip tilled corn on corn for about 7 years now and is in the same strip as the 2010 side dressing pics above)
