Theres a auction coming up in a few weeks with a IH1086 in the sale... Was thinking if it went cheep enough I would buy it to primarily run the grain vac or auger (whatever we upgrade too), and maybe pull the harrows and packer around after beans.

What kind of things should I look at for signs of problems. Going by pictures on the sale site the owner kept pretty good care of it but that hardly means anything...

Just need a replacement for the 390 Massey that we really dont use for anything anymore as it's too low on HP.
