Second, the designers of this equipment apparently don't know how to cure hay either. They don't seem to understand that the bigger the head, the bigger the swath needs to be......or maybe they are trying to sell tedders and conditioners.

My current hy cutting tool is a Hesston self propelled with a 15' 9180 head. My next hay cutting tool will be two 10' 9180 hesston heads mounted on a tractor.


I think because it's Hesstonized hay it can be put into a narrower swath. ;-)

Maybe you have never ran old Hesston hay equipment and seen that in the owners manual. LOL Can't quite remember how the saying goes but I believe it holds true. :)
