Good call Crowbar. I would think a .243 or .260 remington would be more practical. 25-06 is a good round but with powder techonology today you just simply don't need the case capacity the -06 provides.
Sure, on paper everything sounds great but that extra 50 fps really doesn't amount to a hill of beans in the total scheme of things. I would much rather have the shorter action as well.
Who owns a 25 06 rifle.
