WC MN | 243 wssm has been officially obsoleted. However, the .25 wssm is still an item. You can find ammo for both but the .25 has more "life". Of course, you can rework the brass for either or to make it work if you own a reloading station.
I'd take a .243 to a yote at 400 yards all day. I push three and some change with my .204 with no problems. The key with any of these calibers is the bullet choice and barrel twist. My 243 wssm has a 1:10 twist so 90 grains are about pushing it. A 105 grain would have much better ballistics but you need at least a 1:9 or even better 1:8 to stabilize it. Of course I can send a 62 grain pellet down at just over 4k and vaporize prairie dogs. That's kinda cool I guess.
My advice, buy them all!
