my question would be...Is the power co going to meter the power to the heater separately or will all your power get the "electric heat" rate? Do you have to be all electric to get the rate or what?
Your calculations seem right to me. Probably need to hook in an hour meter or old analog clock to the heater to tell what your actual run time is.
