Martinsville, Ohio
Ha, you get an A on that assignment. You have Bengal and I have Cincinnati Silt Loam!

This has been a pretty interesting thread for me, hope you all enjoyed it.

Today is World Soil Day for soil awareness so I am trying to complete my blog on that topic today.

Always wanted a soil like Herman's after visiting his farm, then it was Francis, then it was Paul and then it was Keith. Drummer and Muscatine two of my favorites but turns out I have productive soils right here in sw Ohio and there is more to making a profit from then while keeping them intact or improving them than there is to the original soil type. I wouldn't trade many of you but a few, yes I would.

It is interesting to search some of the names you have submitted.

Thanks again,

Ed Winkle
