Near-north Ontario, French River | GMAN. Agris branch in Cottam has access to a 38" bar ( at least they did, if not they will move rows around to fit) . I know of one guy that uses a 30in bar, applies his NH3 and will plant next day. What he does is flag where he starts his first pass, then when he comes back to plant he just offsets a bit to be sure he's not running over top the NH3 slot. He claims he's never had a burn issue, I have no reason to doubt him so it sounds like it works out fine. |
