South Western Michigan | I shoud add we never shell corn over 5mph. I see alot of guys on here talking about planting 7-9mph and harvesting equal speeds. We drill soybeans 5.5mph and plant corn 4.5mph. At harvest time the 9670 with a 35' platforn runs 3.5-4mph and corn head at 5mph. I can't imagine the field loss at of shelling corn at 8mph. If you tell me there is none you better take a closer look at the ground. | |
