I did exactly that because the post was moving, BUT I mounded the concrete up so it was level with the top of that bracket and then troweled out each way where the door channels come into the bracket. This way we can drive the skidsteer or anything else right over the top of the concrete and bracket and nothing moves and no damage to tires. Been perfect for 2 years. Also drilled holes in the post and put several rebar rods out both ways to grab onto the concrete. Only went down about 2', but since the post is down deeper it has never moved in winter.
