For some pics i posted before sheet rocking.
The foam was a mess to do. We rented the equipment form a guy in south mo, he sits in the trailer and you do the spraying, prep work, clean up ect.
To hire it done the bid was 21-22,000 and we paid 13or so for the foam and the rental. Cellulose was going to be around 9500. We spent alot of our own time cleaning up. 2 short days of hell spraying the foam.
The geo thermal units have something on them for foam insulation because i asked the hvac guys before we sprayed the foam on what we needed to keep the house fresh ect with air.
We are keeping the ceiling fan in the center dormer on all the time stiring the air. The center dormer is all open and there is a cat walk to the living room in that area too. | |
