I had 35 acres of corn that had no ears on it. It got chopped off early and I ran the numbers on hay since I oculd have fall seeded it and been able to go full bore on it next spring.
I couldn't pencil it. Too much fertilizer and labor over a grain crop. I even have all the hay equipment to put it up.
Anybody on here purchase all or a majority of their feed needs?
