Twenty years ago, I would advise people to buy their feed. Absolutely.
I now would not be able to sleep at night if I did not have the where-with-all (land) to grow 65-75% of my own feed. If not for price, but for availability and quality.
Anybody on here purchase all or a majority of their feed needs?
