Central Kentucky | This is the easiest or hardest job you will do on that combine. If you can get the JD tool do so. It is not really a true wrench but a heavy tool made to transfer the hammer hit into pure torque to break it loose. It is threaded backwards. It will come right off. Don't remove the hoses. That is the hard way and really messy. If you do this in a non prescribed method then you will be calling a really good welder out to remove the broken shaft. That is a really really hard way. I did my 7720 several times and I don't fit well in that area but with a removal tool it was easy. As you can tell I only had to call the welder once. I learned my lesson. This was before NAT. | |
