Subject: RE: JD 6620TII hydraulic pump removal

WC Ohio
The last time I had to remove my pump I had to buy (2) Snap-On 5/8 wrenches(flank drive-special jaws on the open end of the wrench). I put them side by side on the shaft and hit them(drive them down towards thew cab floor) with a heavy hammer. I tried everything else that I could think of before buying the new wrenches. One hit and the shaft broke loose. I had an older regular Snap On 5/8 wrench and it just spread and spun on the shaft when I hit it. If I recall, someone on Ag Talk suggested the two Snap On wrench solution. I am in west central Ohio if you want to borrow the wrenches.
Good luck,
Brian
