iphone is certanly the easiest to navigate for a novice. Android platform has more potential. Kind of like buying a motorcycle, find what you like and get it. My wife has an iphone 4s and is giddy about getting an iphone 5. I say she should be because my Samsung Galaxy s3 blows hers out of the water.
