What if you are not in any government programs?

I would much rather cut the trees down, and burn them. They are far too hard to burn with a huge root ball stuck to them. I just cleaned up a pile a few weeks ago that was pushed out with a dozer, what a pain to burn. I really hate farming around brush piles that were pushed out and piled up because they won't burn. If you cut them down and apply some elbow grease you can burn them up quickly. Alas, the elbow grease part is why most guys farm around trees.
