| The US farm policy is the only government program that has maintained its goals. It's original goals were to make food in the US as cheap as possible so we do not face a shortage of food in the US an and face starvation. For income earned is the US we have one of the cheapest food supplies in the World.
So they need to be asked where in the world is there as much food for so low of cost to the economy? Also add, without commercial fertilizer the whole world would be starving.
