Malta, Illinois | Agree, unless it turns colder and wetter and planting is delayed. Not saying that is going to happen just that something like that is the only thing the trumps June through August weather. One could make the case that moisture being received now is bearish to markets but as you point out a hellish July can turn that ship around. Markets are going to need some kind of widespread weather scare in the corn belt otherwise prices now will look pretty darn good come harvest. Anything close to normal weather this season will see corn well under $4 and beans under $10. | |
