Since they'll never do the latter............I don't guess it really matters if we agree.
But it should take some heat off of support for ethanol. It seems like plenty like to criticize it, but leave out the obvious protections for the oil folks. Those types of protections that dwarf the ethanol industry's version.
Higher ethanol blends do more to sequester Carbon then mining or EV economy.
