I'd have to see the math on that. Anything I've looked at isn't even close.
The only way it's viable is when you back up with the grid.........and then you're forcing the hand of the utility company, which in turn forces the cost for everyone who's not even on solar to pay more. All the while we're being sold the "saving the planet" theory. While China continues to churn out coal fired plants.
