Idk. But on irrigated we plant 25 lbs. On dryland 20. I custom drill alfalfa for neighbors about every yr nobody here plants less than 18 anymore. Most aim for 20+. I know few guys pushing to 30 lbs on irrigated to get maximum tonnage. And longer life span
