Somehow some people think the physical soybeans have to make some arduous transit and be laundered through many ports, loaded and unloaded along the way. It could also just be as simple as docking in Panama on the way through the canal and doing an exchange on paper.
No one knows how it works yet. All the time, China's greater economy will be squeezed.
I look forward to seeing my gadgets stamped with lots country names that aren't China.
