| Reminds me of a ag economist I got to hear several years ago and his key take away message is the market will always drive the the average producer to a breakeven. Once you embrace that fact you realize profit isn't made in cheerleading for higher prices, but rather adapting to the market to become profitable.
It's amazing how we have a federal backed crop revenue insurance, a Plc/arc program, and a good few months to lock in favorable prices yet some act like the last month is a tragedy on here. Heck if this thing goes much lower it would be like triple dipping. | |
