EC SoDak | The key to that is if the conditions stay excellent. My point is at this current time, we have no idea how grain fill is going to go and that has been the difference maker the last handful of years.
I think people believe I’m calling for a small crop, that’s not really the case. I’m merely saying that calling for 180+ even before we as a whole were even close to pollinating is premature and isn’t giving the credit to what the last few years finishes did for the crop.
The calls for a warm July, if materialized, have studies that show it affects yield negatively. This will be even more evident with how far along some of these IState crops are at this point in time.
