If I had to take a guess, id say slightly above trend due to potential. However, I try to assume trend until more is known unless there is a huge disaster over a large area. Typically it’s when I try to guess yield and be smarter than the market is where I get into trouble as it relates to marketing. As I wrote above, kernel size has a huge influence on final yield and that comes further down the road if you have a crop.

My marketing plan is only slightly influenced by nit picking fundamentals and charts. I tend to hedge my crop based on the historical curve of when it’s best to hedge grain.
