When Harvey got us last fall wife, SIL and daughter took care of our personal property claim. They took a pic of each item and attached a quote or screenshot of replacement value. Worked real well for us. The insurance adjuster said we had our stuff in order and paid all but a couple of items without hassle.
Need advice on negotiating with our own property insurance company.
