My son and I leveled rock for a concrete pad and laid rebar this afternoon. Hes 4, stopped playing with his farm toys when he saw me raking and came over to help without my asking. I'd say if the neighbor boy wants to work, he may want to learn something about getting the job done. Or he just wants paid, and thats not all bad either if he puts in the effort.
