I firmly agree with your complete reply here, but this section really stands out.
I've read on here countless times how the "citiots" have no idea where there food comes from, and how, if it weren't for farmers, they'd starve, blah, blah, blah.

Granted, yes, we grow the food. But do we realize where all the tools used in the production of said food come from? Sometimes I get the impression that some think the tools come from the implement store, just as it's been said that urbanites think their food comes from the grocery store. That's where it's bought, but it doesn't come from there.

The toe bone's connected to the foot bone's connected to the leg bone.......
None are independent of the other.
