210 Industrial Dr., Arlington Wisconsin 53911
This style opener is made to fit the 7x7 newer style frames. I don't think this style ever went on a 3x3 frame.
The style the other posters are talking about came with a 7x7 steel, 3x3 cast, and even a 5x7 steel mount. They
were used on earlier style planters and even present day on the 4-6-8 rigid bar planters. I would
match the style you have on your present 5x7 planter to see what you have for fitment problems.
The 7x7 frame you want to go to does't have the swing axle your 5x7 does so that won't get in
the way. Problems you will have include the mount bolts around the frame and clearance if you
mount row cleaners or coulters. Here's your opener mounted on a frame.
