Eastern Ontario | Started in the late 60's , through 70, where inflation went crazy in my neck of the woods, the tumultuous 80's 90's and still Blessed to be farming. There is no doubt that dairy helped big time in the 80's. In the 70's my father taught me to borrow a minimum (Save for a rainy day) or I may well have got caught up in the flurry of spending! He struggled in the 30,s but survived. The cattle have long gone but my desire to farm has not :) | |
