I don't think "betting" on a weather scare is a good marketing plan.

There is already weather premium built into 2016 Crop prices. Watch this weather premium disappear quickly, as we don't even need to secure a big crop this year

168 isn't the new normal.

10 days of heat and a month of warm night time temps will make 168 look like a pipe dream

Take a look at the world maps the last two years. The only blue spot has been NA. The heat will come back and will make us remember Mother Nature is in control

One thing is for certain. Mother Nature takes care of surpluses and deficits.

Actually, I feel you're incorrect. 168 is "trend" or "the new normal" There is a chance 2016 will be above this and a chance it will be below this. You act as if 168 is the best we could possibly do

1 year at 168 and one at 170 with two of the coolest summers you could ask for and all of the sudden we have a new trend. Let me see your crack pipe.

But we did that yield this last year with the world completely falling apart east of the Mississippi - don't you remember all the "killing the crop" threads that popped up here?
