Boone, Iowa | I am going to a chiro in Ames. He is not rough and when I'm having issues, I may have to go to him 3 times a week to get things fixed. He tells me there are 10 layers of muscles in your lower back and you have to work on them a little at a time to get to the problem. I have been to a " back specialist" that was going to give me a recommendation after the evaluation. He ended up reading the wrong patient's chart to give me his recommendation, so he had to find my chart then email me the plan. I didn't trust him if he cannot read the correct chart, so I never went back to him. Another back Dr. gave me the option of physical therapy, a steroid shot in the lower back, surgery or not do anything at all. I left that office and made an appointment to see my chiro the next morning. I have confidence that if my chiro thought I needed a medical Dr, he would advise me of that. I agree that some chiropractors can get too aggressive. | |
