Definitely trade offs, its a tough call to make. Also nice to have the long alley with a roof if you need to park a full gravity box or something else you need to keep dry overnight. Another downside to the fully covered especially in WI, is that south sun exposure during good weather in winter months. Really depends on your setup and placement
