Driftless SW Wisconsin

Paul, that coulter really is designed for NH3. The current version works very well with ammonia, folks also use it to combine with 10-34-0 in what I think is called a TAPPS(?) system.  The ammonia comes out looking like sugar.

It will applied standard anhydrous at around 200 units/acre on 30" centers and 100 on 60" centers with almost no sign of loss in most conditions. In some soils folks go higher rates.  A good match for an ANH3 system.

The coulter has an adjustable angle on it and can be used for NH3, liquid, dry, combinations and also for liquid manure up to about 4,000 gal/a.  It has many options.  I love it for side dressing - gets the fertilizer deep and sealed with minimal soil disturbance on top and does not pull up the many rocks in my SW WI fields.
