| The typical Cash Rent lease is out of date as well as Cash Rent Flex-Leases. Does anyone have ideas to make a Cash Rent lease more equitable for both the farmer and owner? It seems odd that we negotiate a lease in October and November without knowing what the future holds. How can we make leases more determinate on what happens throughout the year? Having a crop share lease with every owner would be wonderful, but we all know that it doesn’t always make sense for the owner to have a crop share lease.
Please share what type of leases you have with your owners.
