Subject: beans and corn in the crapper-going to alfalfa

western iowa,by Denison
With beans and corn in the crapper-we are thinking of putting hay in -would be about 320 acres of hay-has anyone upped there acres of hay? When you upped the hay acres what things different do you do? This will be a large number for my farm-as usually I run 70% corn and 20% beans with balance hay-usually very seldom do we get dry weather here in Iowa but maybe 1 or 2 times we get some dry hay thru the year-Thanks for any ideas.
