SW Wisconsin | Did any of you guys read the Ralph Moody books? That's the only place I recall hearing about salting cattle for sale. It's been a while since I read it, but the story I recall is an unscrupulous seller corralled the cattle for several hours with nothing but salt, and then filled the water tanks. The buyer caught wind of the plan, and waited several more hours to show up to weigh the cattle. | |
