If you really think you'll have a tetney problem high mag cake is the way to go, they'll eat it but it is expensive and time consuming for a few weeks. Last time we did it we were "rewarded" with about 6 sets of twins the next year. Usually the one dumb cow that is going to eat herself to death is never leaving the creek bottom to get some mineral but she'll come running for cake.
