Nebraska | Fence is cheaper insurance per acre than crop insurance on an annual basis. Especially if you took out the subsidy. And people with good fence and closed gates have a lot less problems with their neighbors it seems.
Less problems and more options for opportunity so it boggles me why some are so resistant to fence(and even get defensive about it). Unless they know they aren't good enough to keep their iron out of it I suppose. Wheeled iron is harder on fence than cattle sometimes. | |
