Good luck. My mom is 96 and lives alone. Her clothes dryer died a couple years back ( in the basement). I tried to talk her into putting the washer and dryer in an unused bedroom on the main level, but she wouldn’t have it. Mom has a laundry chute, but carries stuff up in a small basket. A dumb waiter would be kind of handy.
