NW Iowa | We're very dry and it's been cool so emergence is slow. But we are more prone to damage from too much early rain than not enough. This crop has huge potential if we can get into a wetter pattern after the crop is established. But the anxiety comes from the fact that we usually get more moisture in the first half of the growing season and build up reserves for the second half when it tends to be drier. It's an unusual situation. | |
