| A few years back I ended up with a real low population. I can't remember for sure but it was around 40,000 I think. Seed company told me I would not pay for my seed to replant. Those beans made 65, which at that time was a farm best.
I am sure at that low number variety and spacing would make a difference.
Time of year and environment ( location) I am sure make a difference. For reference I am west central Iowa.
Coop prayed Dads beans with Liberty and killed most of them. He had large gaps between plants. They were still fair. | |
